Abstract
A method for the measurement of energy input in the pulsed gas discharges in short gaps, based on the measurement of active voltage at the low-inductance part of discharge circuit with two electrode gaps in a triple-gap gas-discharge aerosol generator has been developed. It was shown that the efficiency of energy input in the discharge gaps increases with the number of serially connected gaps.

Abstract
A method for measuring the dielectric properties of strongly absorbing substances by the reflection from them of incident electromagnetic radiation, is proposed. It is based on application in measuring circuit of the quarter-wave nonabsorbing dielectric plate located on an adjustable distance from the measured material surface.
